He founded the first Elementary Robotics Club in the state of Nebraska in 1999 and started a Summer STEM Camp in Bellevue 9 years ago. Garrett serves as a Teacher Liaison for The Space Foundation in Colorado Springs, Colorado and also worked with LEGO Education as a educational consultant on a new classroom product called LearnToLearn. Garrett's hobbies include being a chauffeur for his three boys, geocaching, MAME & retro gaming, watching movies and reading graphic novels. |

While starting out as a special education teacher and counselor, she has worked for the past 18 years with 1st through 4th grade students. Monica is always finding ways to reinvent her classroom and has had 1:1 iPads in her class for the past two years.
She is passionate about using technology in her classroom to enhance and enrich the learning opportunities for her students. In September, she wrote a guest post for Angela Maiers blog "What Will Your Verse Be?", and Monica was a guest host on Vicki Davis Every Classroom Matters on the Bam! Radio Network. |
